In a dream I was on a roller coaster ride. The tracks of the ride were parallel with what resembled a regular traffic spaghetti; that is, it followed the traffic, but was on it’s own curving path that allowed the roller coaster to follow it’s own path weaving around the traffic lane, but never intersecting with it (thereby causing a collision.) At several points the tracks split up into two separate paths only to merge again at a later point. The tracks allowed the joined carts to continue running, unlike the regular traffic which often slowed down or stop altogether. It was a very fast ride, and although the spaghetti traffic appeared to stop at one point, the roller coaster did not. However, it was not on a continuous loop, it did not repeat the same twists and turns. There were other people on the ride also, but I could not see any of their faces.

Roller Coaster:
(1) Life out of control – up and down – carried by circumstance;
(2) Unstable;
(3) Emotionally driven;
(Ps. 109:23 Then people go out to their work, to their labor until evening.)
(4) Trials;
(James 1:2,6 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of
many kinds, 6. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.)
(5) A call for preparation of heart (repentance);
(Isaiah 40:3-4 A voice of one calling: “In the wilderness prepare the way for the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain.)
(Mark 1:4 And so John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.)
(Acts 13:24 Before the coming of Jesus, John preached repentance and baptism to all the people of Israel.)
(6) Lifting despair and humbling pride
(Luke 3:4-6 As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet: “A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him. Every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill made low. The crooked roads shall
become straight, the rough ways smooth And all people will see God’s salvation.’”
